IURA x University of Warsaw Faculty of Law

We are pleased to announce that IURA has entered into a cooperation agreement with the Faculty of Law and Administration of the University of Warsaw.

Joining forces with the Faculty of Law and Administration of the University of Warsaw!

We have important news to share — IURA has just signed a cooperation agreement with WPiA UW, the Faculty of Law and Administration of the University of Warsaw — one of the most important centers of legal education in Poland.

This is a moment we have worked toward for a long time. And one of those worth pausing at to say a few words more.

Why does this matter so much to us?

WPiA UW is no random partner. It is a faculty that for decades has shaped the way people in Poland think about law. A vast share of the country's judiciary, academia, and law firm community traces its roots here. The Faculty's scholarly output is a point of reference for the entire legal profession.

For us, a young legal-tech company, the opportunity to cooperate with such an institution is an enormous distinction. But beyond that — above all, it is a commitment. Because a partnership with an institution of this stature requires our technology to stand at a level that deserves the name.

We did not end up here by accident. Behind this agreement are months of work by the entire IURA team on refining our solutions. Today, our solutions are recognized by leading Polish lawyers, and it is precisely this that allowed us to enter into a conversation with the Faculty on equal, partnership terms.

What does this mean in practice?

For us, the agreement carries a meaning far broader than a symbolic one. Under it, we will cooperate with the Faculty in three areas:

  1. Research and development — at the intersection of law and new technologies — the space where the Faculty's scholarly output meets what we are building at IURA.
  2. Knowledge exchange — between our team and the academic staff of WPiA UW — because the best legal-tech products are created where technology joins with deep legal expertise, not alongside it.
  3. Supporting the Faculty's community — in the areas where we can genuinely contribute.

We will announce specific projects as they come. For now, we can say this much: the full scope of this cooperation cannot yet be mapped out — and that is precisely what makes it most exciting.

Law meets technology

The legal market is at a turning point today. Technology is ceasing to be an add-on to legal practice and is beginning to co-shape working methods, ways of thinking about law, and the expectations the market places on lawyers.

At IURA, we believe this process should unfold in dialogue with the academic community, not alongside it. The best tools for lawyers will not be built in a closed room of engineers. They will be built where technology meets scholarship, practical experience, and deep reflection on what a lawyer's work actually is.

The agreement with WPiA UW is, for us, another step toward that model of working. One of many we hope to take in the years ahead.

Acknowledgments

We thank the Faculty's authorities for their openness and trust. We also thank everyone on both sides who committed to bringing this cooperation to fruition.

And we thank you — our community, our clients, our partners. Without your trust and the way you use IURA every day, this agreement would not have come about.
